In this episode of Millionaire Mindcast, Jason Bond shares his amazing story that you can relate to. A glimpse on how stock trading works, and how he pursues more wealth and fulfillment in life!

Jason Bond is a self-made millionaire trader who left the corporate grind to trade professionally. He’s trained well over 10,000 paid members and is the #1 stock trading stock advisory service TrustPilot, which is the best member review site in the world. He’s the co-founder of the trading education powerhouse, “Raging Bull”, and he’s been featured on Forbes, The Street, Huffington Post, Investing.com, Seeking Alpha as well as the floor of the NYSE.

During college days, Jason didn’t really know what he wanted to do in life. All he knew he likes playing sports. He tried a few majors in college but didn’t like it.  In line with his lifestyle, he chose to teach sports to the kids. He got awards in physical education. Within 8 years in teaching, he loves what he is doing. Jason expected to get rich as a teacher but it turns out not. It leads him to a $250,000 debts. He didn’t know what to do and this is not the life he wanted.

Although he loves teaching, she realized she wants more money. Jason don’t know what to do to get rich, but he knows he was going to do something. Then, somebody recommended the books by Dave Ramsey on how to get out of debt. It was hard for him because he didn’t quite understand the stuff about money but it explains so clearly in the book. Therefore, they sold their house and get rid of the huge debts. So they’ve got to zero, no net worth, no money, no debt. Jason quit in teaching, move to an apartment and sold their nice car. It took some serious risks, a lot of fear, but he was encouraged by the books he read.

Jason explores a lot of different things and didn’t know what exactly it would be. Eventually, he settled on stock trading. He wasn’t a good trader but he knew that if he could be proficient and excellent in trading he could teach really well to other people based on his skill set. Experiencing many highs and lows in life. He works really hard on himself so he can take care of his family, his business, and his members. It took him 3 years to learn the skills of trading, even then it’s still difficult. He did things to win up financial literacy because he wanted to be good at this. He works really hard to stay sharp and teach people what it means to trade. He started to earn money both in trading and in business.

Jason met life coaches regularly to stay aligned with his purpose and stay balanced in life. He learned that in his pursuit of getting rich, it will not make him a better person.  If he could trade better, he can help more people and for him, it’s an achievement. Giving back to charities fulfills himself.

Trading requires discipline, it pulls out all your worst qualities. If you want to be a trader you need to get your life in order because trading can take you to the highs and the lows from one minute to the next. Understand that and deal with it, that wins!
