Major is a politically active, and the Mayor of Pasadena, California, who constantly looks for ways to help families throughout the nation through Major Kicks for Kids, a non-profit gifting platform that helps economically disadvantaged kids succeed in life and pursue their dreams.
With such incredible experience and a solid policy foundation, Major established and chaired the New California Governor Group, which finds and vets potential candidates for Governor of California. Ironically, Major was overwhelmingly encouraged by the majority of people involved in the committee to run for Governor. He has used the depth of experience he has collected to build a 5-star team that will support him in the race for Governor of the great State of California in 2022.
Major has been in the political spectrum for over 4 years now. It was the first time in California that a black, conservative, and republican almost got 5,000 votes as a first-time candidate. His way of inclusivity, empathy, and relating to people in all different levels makes him very competitive.
Major admits that the campaign gives him the opportunity to learn, evolve, and grow in this particular space. This is a fight for a great State of opportunity that he loves and cherishes.
He explains that a real leader makes a big change and a big difference. They’re someone who has the intent to work for people, who loves the State, has imagination, creativity, willingness, and the ability to bridge gaps through conversation.
He believes that core values are necessary to have a successful life. It sends him on the right track and guides his actions and decisions. Major sees his branded leadership works differently. He asks great questions, listens, and figures out how to bridge those gaps.
